Obituary of Albert Joseph Donat Goulet

It is with sadness that the family of Albert Joseph Donat Goulet announces his passing at Oromocto Public Hospital on July 10, 2020, at the age of 86. Born in Témiscaming, QC, on February 9, 1934, he was the husband of Marie-Anne (Payette) Goulet of Lincoln, NB. In addition to his wife, Marie-Anne, Albert leaves behind his children, Andre (Bonnie) and Julie (Calvin); grandchildren, Natasha, Tabatha, Melanie, and Stephanie; great grandchildren, Emma, Zoey, Maeve, and Rae; sister, Yvonne Cayen; Albert was predeceased by his parents, Evangelist and Alice (Daigle) Goulet; brothers, Leonel and Leonard. Albert was able to combine his passion for fishing and business by selling live minnows at Goulet’s Grocery on Cumberland. If he wasn’t there he and his family, Marie-Anne, Andre and Julie, could be found fishing for Perch on the St. Lawrence out of Lancaster. He also enjoyed bowling with his family during off hours. Albert spent the last few years relaxing in Lincoln, NB, with his wife Marie-Anne, son Andre, and daughter-in-law Bonnie, where he was able to enjoy another passion, flower gardening. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions there will be no funeral at this time. Details will be announced for a service that will be held for Albert in Ville-Marie, Quebec, when they are available.
