Obituary of Donald Joseph Weaver

It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Donald Joseph “Don” Weaver, 70, of Nasonworth, NB, announces his passing, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on December 02, 2022.

Born in Fredericton, Donald was the son of the late John Weaver and Jessie (Ball) Weaver.

He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his son, Bill Weaver (Jill Cloney) of Fredericton; sister, Judy Leger (Jean Claude) of Shediac; brother Darrel (Fernande) of Irishtown; brother-in-law, Ron Richard of Fredericton; aunt, Alma Weaver of Blissfield, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Don was a welder by trade, following in his father’s footsteps. Prior to his retirement he worked at ALPA Equipment Ltd., Fredericton.

The family sends a special Thank You to the doctors and nurses of the DECH and St. John Regional Hospital, the extra mural nurses, and Joe Valento of Pharma Choice Pharmacy for the exceptional care, professionalism, and kindness they provided to Don throughout the last several years. A special Thanks as well to Dr. Dickinson and the nurses of 4SE for making Don’s final days easier and offering comforting support to the family. A very special Thank You to Dr. Tom Barry for his years of care for both Donald and Donna during the easy years and the not-so-easy ones too.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McAdam’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home in Fredericton, NB, on Thursday, December 08, 2022, from 5:00 – 8:00pm.
