So sorry to hear the news about your Mom. We had so many good times with your Mom & Dad, either in the Parkwood Heights neighborhood or at her parents' cottage on Grand Lake. Blanche was a true beauty. Both inside and out.
I remember her fondly as a sitter for Marnie, Cindy and Nicolle. These 3 beautiful and funny apples did not fall far from her tree :)
She was the one that encouraged me to apply to SDM. This opened many doors for me that I never knew existed. For that I will be forever grateful. I never took the time to thank her for that. Thank -you Blanche xo
I want her girls to know how speacial she was and how many people she mentored and gave confidence to along her cheery way. She was a great role model and someone I looked up to with much admiration. She leaves behind a beautiful bushel of sweet apples. Hugs Arline Vincent ( Bannister)

We are in shock and disbelief of the passing of our sweet grammy Fleck. I’m so glad she got the chance to meet her great granddaughter. I will forever cherish my time spent with her, my favourite memories will always be our summers spent in whites cove at the camp, picking vegetables for hodgepodge and blueberries and raspberries and getting her to come swim in the lake with us. She was the kindest most hard working person and would light up every room she walked into. I love you so much.. rest in peace gram.

I had the pleasure of meeting Blanche through Darrell they were very happy together. I never saw her without a smile on her face. She always had a kind word to say, definitely one of the nicest people you could ever know. Hearing of her sudden passing was both shocking and sad. My deepest condolences.

As we wake today, make our coffee and think of you, we know our lives won’t be the same without you. You have never said an unkind word about anyone. You welcomed me into your home even as a young boy of 17 courting your beautiful middle daughter and never once in all of these years were we ever at odds about anything. It was always love, all the time. Thank you for being my “other Mom” who continually encouraged us throughout our lives. We are heartbroken but have so many good memories together and know over time, we will heal. You will always be cherished and remembered in our hearts. We love you so much!

My sincere condolences to the family.I am going to miss her terribly .She has been my best buddy for the last 6 years. She has. driven me to Moncton endless times to the eye Dr., picked blueberries, walked and shopped together. She was always inviting me for supper and making me pies and zuccini breads.I' m not much of a cook so I would get the ingredients and she would do the baking. I will always remember the great times we had on the side by side and our first trip to Martin Head together.I think she thought Darrell & I were crazy taking her out to no mans land but she loved it too once she got there. I am certainly going to miss her and can't help wonder why she was taken so soon. I am so glad that she got to see the baby , she was so excited about her arrival. God must of needed her more than us. Rest Easy my Friend!

My beautiful mom. We are so completely heart broken and devastated. So many beautiful memories. You were always there for every event, big or small. You were my soft landing my whole life. I could tell you anything. You were always my first phone call. My last memory is of you holding your first great grandchild the day before you left us..seeing the joy on your face was priceless. Our times at the lake. Your amazing egg salad and lobster sandwiches. Our weekly phone calls and you trying to learn to text. Our excitement when grand manan dulse was ready, your gravy.
When your first grandchild was born you flew to Texas in March and while all the locals were wearing coats and hats you lounged by the pool in your bathing suit!
On your 60th birthday we kayaked down the Saco river with Nicolle and Taylor laughing our heads off as a storm followed behind us. You calling UNB Nursing Department demanding to speak to the Dean when I called you crying about a difficult professor. Our Costco shopping trips when we got all the deals and felt so good about it till we saw the bill! Your love of life! You were always up for any adventure. Our road trips with Nicolle to see Marnie in Ottawa….. You were simply the best and have left a gapping hole. I love you so much…….Cindy
