George and I spent a lot of time together as young children in the late 1940s and early 1950s - sneaking Brian's comic books to read. I will miss the gentle giant. Cousin, Tom Vincent
My deepest sympathies Marilyn and family in the loss of George. I so enjoyed working with George for a few years before his retirement. He was always very kind and thoughtful with a great laugh that made everyone smile. I know you will all miss him deeply.
As another Oromocto Lake cottager whom we had met several times but we have heard so many good things about his reputation. We also love Oromocto Lake. And since retirement we’re spending 4 or 5 months out there in the summer. I am now a resident of York Care. Hollie in our Condo. So we are sending our deepest sympathy to all of you.

We will never forget the kindness shared by George and his mother attending our daughter’s funeral in 1998. Brian Burt (brother) died at our home in Arizona in 1986. I attended Brian’s funeral and reacquainted with George at this time. George and I worked together at a job on the Penniac Road in 1962. He never forgot the grass fire that erupted behind him that was started by yours truly.
George was a very measured, thoughtful man with a kind sense of humour. He will be greatly missed.
Marilyn, we are so sorry to learn of the passing of George.
He was a great Devon guy who was always so kind and friendly to me over the years.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of George Burtt. He was so loved by the Michalak family. We have so many wonderful memories of the friendship shared with both families. May you rest in peace and remember that he was so loved.
