Dan and I have know John for too short of a time after meeting him and John Jr. through Bob and Becky. During this period we very much enjoyed his friendship, ever ready smiles, jokes , crib games and most of all his stories of a genuinely colorful life full of adventures. We will miss him.

John was a lovely man. Whenever we caught up with John and Rilda on Campobello, he always had a funny joke or story to tell and our family thought the world of him. So sad he has passed away, as my husband Rob says “ he was a top bloke”.

John was such a lovely man. He was so good to my mother Rilda and also her grandson Noah, building fires for him and building his swing set. He was wonderful with all her grandkids: Noah, Zach, Hayden, Libby and Ollie. I even have a video of John acting out a play one of the kids wrote ❤️ He would do anything for anyone. Truly one of the kindest men I've known. He was very loved in our family, from Maine to Australia.

I loved John and shared his life for the last 10 years. He was a gentle, sweet man who was always there for me. He introduced me to fishing and we had so much fun doing that. His many friends became my friends and I loved them all. I will never forget him and the love we shared.. I pray that he is with Helen, Donnie and Linda and that he is free from all the pain that he endured for the last few months. RIP my love, . Ril

John was a very special man,who had many friends,and knew the difference between a wife and a friend.He was never interested in being husband number 7,or 8,just always and forever number ONE and the only One.There was only one true love for John and they have been reunited.God bless them for eternity.
