My deepest and sincere condolences to Susan's family. I have found that after learning of Susan's passing , I have found my bike rides this past week have taken me to some of her favorite routes. As I glance at the horizon I think of her telling me all about the
Pinus Strobus and its bark, needles and cones when I commented on what is with the tall pine trees off in the distance. Or laughing until in tears trying to get me to remember the Staghorn Sumac when riding thru New Hampshire. Guess you can take the girl out of the forest but not the forestry out if the girl ! I hope you ripping down a nice twisty road somewhere , twisting the throttle , rocking out to your favorite playlist . Will miss seeing the Purple Prince flying down the road . May you rest in peace now, reunited with your mom and sister who I know you missed so much everyday day.
