Obituary of Susan Marilyn Khoury

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Susan Marilyn Khoury announce her passing at her home in Fredericton on July 20, 2023 at the age of 55. Susan was born in Fredericton, NB, on October 10, 1967 to Tom Khoury and the late Marilyn (Stairs) Khoury.

Susan is survived by her father Tom Khoury (Hoda) and her two brothers Jeffery and Jason Khoury. Also, many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Stairs and Khoury families. Susan was predeceased by her beloved mother Marilyn and sister Sonya.

Susan graduated from Fredericton High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from UNB in 1992. Her forestry career took her across Canada.

Susan loved animals and had great love for her cats, Jezebel and Monty, who meant the world to her.

Susan was kind, generous and had great empathy for those who were less fortunate. Her passions were gardening, music, playing her guitar, line dancing and especially riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle the ‘Purple Prince’

A memorial gathering will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. A private family interment will take place shortly thereafter.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Women in Transition House, the SPCA or any charity of the donors choice.
