Kimberly is predeceased by her father, Raymond Day; maternal grandparents, Donald and Bertha Morton; paternal grandparents, Arthur and Greta Day; and special aunt, Myrna Wilkinson.
Kimberly studied Early Childhood Education at Sherdon College in Oakville, Ontario. During this time, she worked as a Nanny for the Currie Family, where she resided for five years. Despite the love of being a Nanny, she couldn’t stay away from her family and home, thus moving back to Maugerville, NB. Shortly after, Kim became employed at Lincoln Elementary Community School as an Educational Assistant, where she selflessly dedicated 23 years. Kim was wonderful at what she did and had a true touch for working with children.
When she wasn’t working, Kim spent many hours volunteering. She was a dedicated member of the Maugerville Women’s Institute, Elm City Quilt Guild and honorary member of the Maugerville Development Council.
When Kim took vacation, she loved to travel with family. Her favorite destination of choice was Cuba. Her travelling companion was none other than her mother, Sandra. Kim was best known for her big heart, kind soul and gentle spirit. She was someone who always wanted to brighten the lives of everyone around her with love.
