So I worked with Andy in WBty Technician's Cell. I had just been posted in (3007) and felt that Andy, Brent Short and myself required self-educstion (OPMEs) as they are called to help us in our career. Andy volunteered his place to conduct the test for our 1st ever military 'History' test.
We decided to individually study then get together to do the test. The following weekend.
I studied and felt that with both their help doing the test together we would be successful.
Day of the exam we arrive at Andy-s place and all set up our puters we are logged in, and ready to go and help ea. Other out we all click start and instantly realize that ea. Exam is diff questions. Andy panics and shouts " were screwed", I didn't study". We are scrambling and it's ea. Man for themselves. ( so much for camaraderie)
I finish 1st and submit my exam achieving above 90 %. Of course with help
Brent finishes second, with our help, again honour's, and there is only Andy left.
With only 5 min left, Andy says I'm done, and he is about to hit submit, he says ' those were tough 30 questions?". I said Dont you mean 35? Andy missed a page of questions with less than 5 min panic mode is back on.
We help him with the last page. A..B..D..All of the above, and then he loses internet...!!!
15 min ltr, and alot of rebooting, he hits submit. He gets honour's but missed the deadline by 20 min, OH the Stress. We email the admin and tell them our..Andy's lengthy story, and he credited with a pass ( honours).
The rest as we Say is H.I.S.T.O.R.Y !!
I WILL MISS YOU MY FRIEND.
I cherish our talks/relationship and coffee/breakfast outings more than you will ever know.
Unique. EOM
