So sorry to here of your Mom's passing. She was memorable for our Smythe St community of kids. I'll always remember her Whistle calling all her children to come home in the evening when it got dark. Those were the days! She was also lovely to my father when she would walk down the hill and stop into his workshop to see what he was building. Great memories.

I was so sad to receive the news of your mom's passing. Marjorie was such a blessing to our whole family and a wonderful friend to my mother. After the death of my mother, Marjorie became like a mother to me , especially through my lengthy illness in 2017. She called me regularly in hospital and I always felt she was there for me and it really meant so much. I will miss her so so much. God Bless your family at this difficult time and even more difficult now that when we need to be together the most we are kept apart. I will keep you all in our prayers.

Paul, Nancy, Carol, Michael, and David......so sorry to hear of Marjorie's passing. She was a wonderful lady always so friendly and willing to reach out to those in need. As a member of the current "Soup Group" at Brunswick Street Baptist, we often remember Marjorie as the original inspiration for this ongoing ministry to the Fredericton Community Kitchen. As a co-worker with Paul at NBDOT, I also recall numerous stories of your family trips to Skowhegan. May God give you comfort and peace as you support one another in the days ahead.

Dale Bray posted a condolence
Paul and family, Carol and I were made aware of the passing of Marjorie a few days ago. We are pleased that we did have an opportunity to visit with both of you a few months ago. My earliest contact with Marjorie was when we purchased our World Books from her back in the 1970s. They have served us well. We know that both of you have had to go through some significant changes over the last two or three years. You had the move from Smythe Street to Shannex and you both have experienced a decline in your health while at Shannex. But you were supportive of one another as long as you could. I (Dale) had several opportunities to share time with you and Marjorie while you and I served on various committee at the church, especially during the time of the planning and construction of the new Family Life Centre. We remember you in our payers as you adjust to yet another change in your life. Continue to "trust in the Lord". That trust serves as a firm foundation as you go from day to day in this world in which the foundations are not that firm during these days! I will plan to visit with you once the current limitations related to visiting at Shannex are relaxed. So please accept this note as our expression of sympathy at the passing of Marjorie - wife, mother and friend to many. Blessings, Dale and Carol Bray

Marjorie was the first person from the Fredericton Parkinson's Support Group who agreed to speak with me privately after my diagnosis with PD. She was very generous with her time and with sharing her experience with the condition. She also arranged for an excellent presentation to our local support group about how marijuana might help manage the symptoms of some people living with PD. Marjorie attended the most recent meeting of our local support group in February, and was as bright as ever, asking questions. She contributed to the support group in many ways over the years, and I will miss her, as will others in the group.
