Obituary of Dr. Jeffrey McNally BA, MSc, PhD

It is with sadness that the family of Jeffrey John McNally announces his passing on Thursday, January 2^nd, 2025 at the age of 50.

 

Jeffrey was born in Fredericton, NB, on July 15^th, 1974 and moved with his parents to O’Leary, PE. He graduated with honors from Westisle High School and Mount Allison University where he earned his BA. Jeffrey then went on to earn his Masters Degree in Industrial Psychology from Western University in London, ON, and later received his PhD from McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, where he graduated with honors.  At the time of his death he was a professor at UNB in the Faculty of Management. His parents and family are so proud of his accomplishments. God called him home too soon.

 

He is survived by his children, Thomas and Amelia McNally of Summerside, PE; parents, John and Cindy (MacLeod) McNally of Summerside; sister, Lisa McNally of Bedford, NS; aunts, Marilyn Thompson (Bobby) of Fredericton and Joanne Hunter of Redcliffe, AB, and by his beloved dog, Roxy. Jeffrey was predeceased by his grandparents, Frank and Hazel McNally and Duncan and Margaret MacLeod, all of McAdam, NB, and by aunt, Susan Carpenter of Miramichi, NB. He was also predeceased by his uncles, Wayne Carpenter of Miramichi, Frank McNally of Lake Echo, NS, and John Hunter of Redcliffe.

 

There will be no services at this time. A graveside service will be held in McAdam at a later time. For those who wish, donations in Jeffrey’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
