Obituary of Benjamin John Bourque

Benjamin John Bourque It is with broken hearts that the family announces the passing of Benjamin John Bourque (Ben) at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on April 5, 2020. Born in Fredericton on June 18, 1973, he was the son of Mitch and Wendy (Ryder) Bourque. Ben will be missed by his beloved friend and life long partner Jody Phillips; his parents Mitch and Wendy; his cat Jacob and all the many, many friends, family and loved ones. A special thank you to Extra mural and the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for their amazing care and kindness. A beautiful light went out Sunday, a man filled with love and compassion, who cherished his beautiful wife, Jody, and his friends and family. He was a calm and supportive presence and will always be loved and respected by his coworkers as well. RIP Ben, we will miss your gentle ways, your steadfast and practical nature, your courage and determination, and your generous, funny and wonderful self. There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. Donations to Partners for Youth would be appreciated by the family.
