Beth we are so proud of how you fought your cancer. What a model you set for us. We cling to the many wonderful memories of the times we spent together. How we marveled at your writing skills, hoping to read your book of memories. We loved you and will continue to love you with kindness. Greg was so honoured to be your caregiver during your journey's ending. Rest in peace, our dear friend. May songs of the angels welcome you and guide you along your way.

My sincere sympathies to you William and family. I was blessed to have met Beth when I started working my 2nd job at Wellness in Ste. Anne's Court in 2010. Beth did some orientation and I found her not only professional but so sweet & kind. We quickly became friends, along with May Bagheri who used to work for Ste.Anne's & now Shannex. The 3 of us spent a lot of time together, out to dinners, birthday celebrations & gatherings. We made a special trip to Casino Moncton last year before COVID. We travelled down on a Monday and we laughed as it was full of seniors. The 3 of us won quite a bit of money, had lunch at the buffet and left with our pockets a bit richer but most important of all, a wonderful time with best friends. Beth was the shining light, always looking on the bright side, loved her sense of humor and always there if you needed her. My heart is heavy that she is gone buy I know she is now at peace and organizing something important in heaven. I am eternally grateful I met not only a special woman but I made a lifelong friend. I am looking forward to the celebration of her life in the future.

Beth you were such an inspiration to all who had the fortune of having you in their life. You were such a great friend to my Mom, Rozelle, and I always enjoyed my time spent with you. You made this crazy world such a better place - if there were only more people like you! You were a true inspiration to me, Heaven certainly gained a very, very Special Angel! May you Rest in Peace! Beth was an inspiration to those that met her. I met Beth two years ago as she was Chair of the Board at Recycle NB. Her dedication, not only to Recycle NB but to friends and family was immediately evident. Beth could always make me laugh with her wit and spunk, even while we worried about her as she courageously fought her battle with cancer. Beth brought warmth, caring, enthusiasm and a "we can do it" attitude to her role as Chair of Recycle NB. She made a difference in her community, we loved her and we will miss her greatly. As we go through life we meet many people but there is that one person that stands out above all. Beth was that person. In 1988 she became my supervisor and shortly thereafter became a good friend and mentor. She was wise well beyond her years. There are not enough accolades to describe what Beth ment to so many. Our world was a better place with Beth in it. I hope that all of us that had the privilege to know and love her will take what we saw in Beth and pass it on to others. I take comfort in knowing that on April 27th I gave her a hug and told her I loved her. You gave a good fight. Rest in Peace.

My sincerest sympathies. Beth was our Chair at Recycle NB, the sweetest and most outgoing person. I felt such love and admiration. It tore me apart to see her struggle and I have peace knowing she is no longer suffering. The picture captures the beth I knew.

William, I was so sorry to hear of Beth's passing. I had the honour and pleasure of working with her at Supply and Services many years ago. She was a shining light with her ever present smile and great wit. She was also the consummate professional and above all just a good person. I am sure she will be missed dearly by her family but I hope knowing that she was appreciated, respected and liked by many will help in your sorrow.

My deepest condolences on the loss of your mother William. Beth was such a force of nature, a force for good. Everything she set out to do she accomplished and sometimes took us along for the ride. She was a talker, an organizer, a doer and she loved to laugh. She lived life to the fullest and always with humour. She gave of herself to family, friends and even strangers. Even during her treatments she was helping others. She told me recently that she never prayed for herself only for others....that was Beth. Most of all I will miss her laugh. Rest in peace Beth. I will pray for you.

I'm having a hard time believing that I'm writing a message here instead of to Beth. I've heard the name Beth McDermott my entire life and never had the chance to meet her. Beth was my first cousin but as I was the youngest of the youngest in my family my cousins were old enough to be Aunts and Uncles. Then one day Beth's name came up in a news report about her work with seniors so I contacted her and we had many beautiful chats online. We were supposed to meet last summer in person. But of course the two "C" words interfered... cancer... covid. It's been a hellish year and yet I'm grateful Beth and I had some hearfelt conversations during this time. Much love to all who also loved her.
