Obituary of Elizabeth McDermott

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth McDermott. Elizabeth, or Beth as her family and friends called her, passed while surrounded by friends, laughing at her own joke. Beth was an amazing lady filled with energy and spunk. She loved life, her family and her friends. She will be dearly missed by her son William Brown (Katy); grandchildren Evangeline and Liam Brown as well as extended family and many friends throughout the world. Beth was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Morris) McDermott. At Beth's request, there will be no service at this time, but a gathering to celebrate her amazing life will be arranged when COVID travel restrictions are lifted. My Mother wrote the piece above, and her lack of hubris shines through. I would like to add that my Mother had positive effects on so many people throughout her life; we all benefitted from her altruism and commitment in the community. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
