Lydia Clara May Jukes, of Guelph, formerly of Saint John, NB, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the Village of Riverside Glen on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the age of 97.
She was the beloved wife of the late Clifford Jukes (1990), loved mother of Marilyn (Simon) Williams and Bill Jukes, cherished grandmother of Brad (Laura) Wilson, Amanda (Joe) Italiano, Evan Williams, Dylan Williams and Alex Williams and great grandmother of Gwen, Gabe, Jack, Jaycob and Emma, dear sister of Grace MacCollum. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Lydia was predeceased by her four brothers, Jimmy, Billy, Bobby, Larry and her four sisters Evie, Connie, Mary and Clara.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 2:00 pm with an interment at Forest Hill Cemetery following the service. For those unable to attend the service, a live stream will be available at the following link: https://vimeo.com/618154188
