Marjorie (Nanny) meant a great deal to me as I'm sure she did to everyone who knew her. Her zest for life was evident in the way she lived, the way she loved her family, and the many friends she kept. She was loving and tender but also tough and tenacious; a marvelous combination. Having lost all my grandparents several years ago it was wonderful to have another Nanny in my life for the past 15 years. I will miss her immensely and think of her often. Whenever I face adversity, I'll remember Nanny and do my best to embody her spirit.
