I wanted to let your family know that she was a wonderful lady that I enjoyed looking after and coming to work because she was there. We enjoyed a lot of good conversations and she was so proud of her entire family and loved to talk about you and all of the things that she enjoyed. We've lost a wonderful lady and I just wanted to let you know how fortunate I am to have gotten to know and love her. Thinking of you all at this time with good thoughts and prayers.

Gary, Duane and Bonnie, Your mom was the sweetest kindest person, she made our days brighter at Thomas Hall. I will miss our long chats and her pushing me to have a rest. She truly was a treasure. My deepest heartfelt sympathy to you all as I know you adored your mom as she did all of you. I will think of her every time I pick up a paintbrush and when my Cardinals visit my feeder (which she was quite jealous of and impressed with the pictures) I hope you know how much we all loved her too. Praying for you all at this difficult time. Jody

My sincere sympathy to you all on the passing of your mother. She was always so kind, thoughtful and cheerful any time we met. I had many interesting chats with her over the years as I was a regular customer at Birks. I have a number of relatives in New Maryland/Nasonworth. My dad, Ron Booker, grew up there. Whenever I drove out that way I would always glance at her cute home to see if she was out in the yard. I will remember her fondly and again my wife and I extend our sincere sympathy. Heartfelt condolences to the McFarlane family. I had the pleasure of meeting Norma at Shannex in 2019 when my Mom became a resident of Thomas Hall. I found your Mom to be a noble, gracious, kind and very modest person. It was just last year when I discovered her artistic talent (as she would never brag about such), and got to admire her works, and hear the associated connections of her paintings (the family homestead), etc., all of which she would hardly accept any compliments for. Her gentle manner, kindness and independence was infinite, wanting no one to fuss over her, or assist her, even when her recent bursitis was a obvious problem for her. She was quick to compliment others, and always carried herself with grace and a smile. Her natural kind, generous, accepting manner, shone through from first meeting and never faltered. I truly enjoyed being in her presence, and am greatly saddened by the scope of your loss of this very "special" lady. My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. I share in your sorrow. I was so shocked to learn of your mothers passing. I have so many fond memories of her at the camp, her and Babe, visiting her parents house, etc. She was always so funny and had so many stories. Of course being related we knew a lot of people in common and so a lot of history. I will miss her and hope to see some of you when you get together for grave side service.

My sincere condolences to the McFarlane family for the loss of their dear mother. I worked with Norma at Hogan's Jewel. She was so supportive and loving. Her skills as a saleslady were amazing as she knew just how to connect with people. She was truly interested in them. I loved Norma's sincerity and her quick wit. How she could make us laugh! Great memories!! RIP

My sincere condolences to Norma's family. I worked with Norma many years ago at Hogan's Jewel. I was a young mother working part-time in the evenings and on the weekends. Through her helpfulness and encouragement, she taught me how to connect with people. I will never forget how kind and thoughtful she was to customers and staff alike. And what a marvellous sense of humour she had! Norma made work fun!!
Thank you for the memories Norma.
Sincerely, Carmel (Hogan) Myles
