I am so sorry to learn of Jack's death recently. He was an amazing man and an inspiration to me personally and to many others. One outstanding quality was his positive state of mind in all circumstances. He was a committed participant in the ministry of Wilmot United Church and his enquiring mind was always ready for theological discussions and more questions. He was a good friend and I will miss him.
I am sorry for your loss. My parents knew Jack well (Bob and Marie Young). I knew Nel as a fellow weaver and Jack of course, who were both very supportive and encouraging of my educational pursuits. I am sure there are many, many stories that you can share with one another and maybe someday in a book of memoirs!

So very sorry to learn of Jack's passing. He was an exceptional human being, always so positive and full of life. He and Nel were friends with my parents for many many years, I always enjoyed their visits. I have a small Christmas ornament, woven by Nel; I cherish it and will treasure it all the more now. Jack was a gifted engineer, with talents well beyond that profession. He was a "participant" who shared his skills freely, as his obit identifies. He was a great friend to many people. We will miss him. We extend our sincerest sympathies to his family.

I am the youngest daughter of An Oudemans-Homburg, who was married to Theo Oudemans, Wouter Oudemans' brother. I met Wouter several times in Putten (Holland) at Schovenhorst. He was a very friendly, intelligent and enthousiastic person. Sorry that he is no longer with us.
I lack internet so I totally missed your Dad's death. We know he lived a long life and a sucessful and fulfilling one. The only downside was losong your Mom so early.Cliff and I extend our sympathy to all the family.

I was his paperboy for a few years when I was very youngat the home on Refent St. I remember his patience in making me comfortable with his dog(s). Michail and I became good friends.
