So sorry to read of Foster's passing. Foster had his (first?) barbershop beside my parents Grocery Store on Lincoln Road. I always thought he was so handsome -even as a little girl! My younger brother received many a haircut from Foster. My sincere condolences to wife Pauline, children, siblings and families.

He would come over and give the most amazing hugs to me and a couple of the other vendors and we would always giggle about how good he always smelled hee hee. Our deepest Condolences to the family of Foster Phillips. He use to cut my father's hair ( Aloysius Frampton), Dad thought a lot of Foster. I know Foster was fighting health problems for some time. Foster cut my hair for over 15 YEARS! His little shop on Connaught St was the coolest place on earth. Due in large part to his professionalism, manner and example, I am a barber and aspire to be as good as he. Few people have such an influence on a young person's life and Foss was certainly one of them on mine. I will not soon forget him and I am so blessed to have met him.
