Obituary of Foster Phillips

It is with very heavy hearts that the family of Foster Murray Phillips of Fredericton NB announce his peaceful passing on May 29, 2022 at the age of 81 years. Born on January 16, 1941, he was the son of the late Ralph and Una (Boyle) Phillips. Foster was an entrepreneur and worked hard all of his life. He found his passion in barbering and made several relationships with people as he served his community cutting hair for over 50 years. Family was the most important and most valuable part of his life. Nothing meant more to Foster than the people that he loved. He loved working with his hands, and shared his creations with love. Foster is survived by his loving wife, Pauline (Cameron) Phillips; his children Debbie Phillips (Chris), Steven Phillips (Donna), and Sandra Phillips (Angie); Theresa Phillips, the mother of his children. Also by stepsons Glendon Warman (Linda), and Shawn Warman (Murielle); his grandchildren Brian O’Donnell (Rena), Chris Phillips (Andrea), Amanda Phillips (Kyle), Dylan Phillips (Daniel), Alex Warman (Abby), and Nicole Warman (Brad); ten great grandchildren; his siblings Pauline Balcom, Doris Rowe (George), Wayne Phillips (Cathy) and Brian Phillips (Michelle). Besides his parents, Foster was predeceased by his brothers Ralphie, Ashley, and Tom; and his granddaughter Brandy. Many thanks to the nurses and doctors who supported Foster through his difficult times. Arrangements are under the direction of McAdam’s Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Foster’s life will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 12:00pm at the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel in Fredericton, with a reception to follow. For those unable to attend, the service will be available online at the following link: https://vimeo.com/715667729. A private family interment will take place at Oromocto Pioneer Gardens.
